Southwest Advocacy Group (SWAG) Family Resource Center,
The SWAG Family Resource Center was a joint effort project between The Southwest Advocacy Group, The Partnership for Strong Families and Alachua County to provide programs, services and activities for the community who would otherwise find these inaccessible due to income and transportation limitations.
The project involved the renovation and modifications of a +/-2,800 s.f. quadraplex into a center containing spaces for after-school programs, counseling, health instruction and a variety of group training activities. It also serves as a hub for the bookmobile, and community activities. SVM welcomed the opportunity to provide pro-bono architectural design and construction phase services for this project.
